To me, event planning is so much more than schedules and seating charts—it’s about capturing a mood and curating fine aesthetic details that linger in your memory. Driven by a deep passion for clean design, natural textures, and a harmonious color palette, I specialize in crafting events that are both effortlessly chic and deeply personal.

I draw my greatest inspiration straight from the elements. When I’m not sketching modern table layouts or selecting the perfect blooms, you can usually find me out catching waves along Carlsbad’s beaches or carving down fresh mountain slopes on my skis. This active love for the outdoors is reflected in my design philosophy: organic, intentional, and entirely in tune with nature.

Over the last five years, my heartfelt obsession with organic floral arrangements has become the heartbeat of MacKinnon Events. I run a highly boutique studio so that I can collaborate closely with every single couple and host—designing side-by-side to co-create an unforgettable, stress-free celebration that flows like a dream.
